MILLS BOMB No.36

Personal project of the WWII British Mills grenade.

Personal project

Sydney, Australia - 2019

Mills bomb" is the popular name for a series of prominent British hand grenades. They were the first modern fragmentation grenades used by the British Army and saw widespread use in World War I. For this project I based my model off the No.36 version.
I was recently approached by Martyn Cox, a specialist Second World War oral historian and film-maker to use this asset and some of my other models for one of his recent documentary's for VE Day.
